Mercedes Benz Exhaust Custom and Aftermarket
The Mercedes CL Class Car was initially designed based from the Mercedes SL Class Roadster. At the outset, it was known as SEC and S Coupe afterwards. It got its current name by the year 1998 and was classified as a Grand Tourer. It was developed by the German auto makers at which it follows similar development phase to Mercedes SL Class roadster. It appears shorter than the S Class but definitely offers a very powerful engine. Currently, it is available in four models: CL500, CL600, CL63 AMG and CL65 AMG. CL65 AMG comes to be the most dominant among the four models but is also the most expensive on the CL Class.
The second generation of the CL cars was the W140—mainly the CL500 and CL600 model. These models were powered by a 48 valve 12-cylinder engine giving off a 389 hp that makes an extremely tranquil and smooth drive. It was followed by W215 model which was enhanced with the latest Mercedes technology. It is equip with a complete well-functioning suspension system. This model also features and Active Body Control which uses 4-hydraulic suspension rams using 3 pressure regulators that are connected to the steering power and suspension pump. It pushes fluid into a pressure of 2,960pounds per square inch. After W =215, W =216 were introduced early in 2006 which comprises 5 models: V8 powered CL500, CL500 4-MATIC and CL63 AMG, V12 powered CL600 and CL65 AMG. W216 model uses Distronic Plus—a system that enables a car to bring a full stop and accelerate again to the pre-set speed to keep a fix distance away from the car at its forefront. Moreover, this model also acquires an Active Night Vision—a program that enables drivers to view the front conditions of the car on a night or dark setting. CL models are also outfitted with new Exhaust, advance boosting and cooling systems.
The Mercedes Benz CL car models have excellent exhaust systems using high quality Mercedes Exhaust. Basically, an Exhaust System is composed of one or more exhaust pipes or tubes which is use to direct exhaust gases away from a controlled combustion on the car’s engine. Exhaust systems also have assorted parts. The Header is the part that serves as the best possible stream for the exhaust gases. It forages the exhaust gases from the cylinders and supports pressure waves to flow out from outlets. Header-back is the part at the end outlet to open air. Header-back systems are usually applicable only to cars without turbo chargers. Turbo charger is a gas compressor used to force initiation on the internal combustion engine and Catalytic converter is the part that reduces the noxious emissions on the engine. On the other hand, Cat-back is the end part of the Catalytic converter headed through the open air.
The significance of a good exhaust system is that it provides you safety from poisonous gases from your car’s combustion chamber. You should always check your exhaust system so that you would be able to replace it if it is not functioning well.
